Lumo is Proton's privacy-focused AI assistant for chat, writing, document analysis, code, web research and image tasks. Its zero-access encrypted history, no-training policy and open-source clients distinguish it from advertising-funded assistants, but its model ecosystem, integrations and frontier-task performance remain narrower than leading general platforms.

Privacy and security​

Proton states that saved chats use zero-access encryption, prompts are not logged for training and inference runs on Proton-controlled European infrastructure. Local sharing and endpoint security still matter.
