World ID is a digital identity system developed by Tools for Humanity as part of the Worldcoin project. It uses biometric verification (such as an iris scan) to confirm that a person is a unique human being while allowing them to remain pseudonymous online. The goal of World ID is to enable secure, privacy-focused proof of personhood for various digital and financial applications.
