Ernie 5.0 is the fifth-generation version of Baidu’s large language model (LLM) series called ERNIE (Enhanced Representation through Knowledge Integration). It’s part of Baidu’s continuous effort to develop advanced artificial intelligence systems capable of understanding and generating human-like language, similar to models such as OpenAI’s GPT. Ernie 5.0 incorporates improvements in reasoning, comprehension, and multi-modal capabilities across text, images, and other data forms.
