crypto governance

Crypto governance refers to the system of rules, processes, and mechanisms that determine how decisions are made within a blockchain or cryptocurrency project. It includes how changes to the protocol are proposed, discussed, and implemented, as well as how stakeholders—such as token holders, developers, and validators—participate in decision-making. Crypto governance can be either on-chain (where voting and execution occur directly through the blockchain) or off-chain (where decisions are made through discussions, proposals, and social consensus before being executed).
