Lenovo AI Glasses V1 Announced with Built-in Tianxi Assistant

Lenovo enters the smart-wearable race with its new AI Glasses V1 — ultra-light, voice-controlled, and equipped with a bright 2000-nit display designed for everyday productivity and accessibility.

Ultra-light design and performance

The Lenovo AI Glasses V1 weigh only 38 grams — about as light as a standard pair of sunglasses — yet integrate microphones and speakers for high-quality calls. The display offers up to 2000 nits of brightness, ensuring clear visibility even in daylight. With sleek lenses and minimalist frames, the device aims to combine comfort with professional functionality.

Tianxi AI Assistant and teleprompter mode

The standout feature of AI Glasses V1 is Lenovo’s proprietary Tianxi AI assistant. It supports voice commands, on-the-go dictation, and a built-in teleprompter mode that scrolls text naturally in front of the user’s eyes — ideal for presentations and live streaming.

Unlike most competing models, Lenovo deliberately omitted a camera to enhance privacy and reduce battery consumption. This means no visual recognition or recording — a conscious decision aligned with the company’s responsible-AI approach.

Battery life and connectivity

The device provides up to 10 hours of continuous translation or 4 hours in teleprompter mode and recharges to 100% in just 40 minutes thanks to rapid-charge technology. Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 5.4, enabling stable pairing with Android and iOS smartphones.

Availability and pricing

The AI Glasses V1 will go on sale on November 9 at approximately ¥ 3999 (around $560). Lenovo has yet to confirm which markets will receive the first shipments, though insiders expect an initial rollout across China and Southeast Asia before a global launch in 2026.

With Tianxi AI integrated directly into the glasses, Lenovo is positioning itself to compete with Meta’s Ray-Ban line and Apple’s Vision products, signaling a shift toward voice-driven, screenless computing.
